I really need to start checking out this list earlier in the day.  You would think 63 days into this I would know better.  Tonight’s challenge, “Draw what you would pick up on a nature walk”, would have worked out better if I could have gone on a nature walk to pick something up.  As it is, I went with one of Girl2’s rocks.  Being as close to the ground as she is, she sees treasures everywhere.  Smooth and sparkly rocks are especially interesting to her.  If she keeps collecting them the way she does, in another year or so I’ll have all of the garden stones from the school to decorate my own yard with.
