Artistic Biker Watercolor Wednesday Alan

Most Wednesdays I pull a photo from one of my Facebook friends public profiles and watercolor it. This week, it was my pal Alan.

Draw the basic outline in watercolor pencil

Hit the darkest shadows with a warm color

Use neutrals to fill out contours

Use a cool to begin the shading

Fill with the common skin tone

Define hard edges with indigo

Alternate warms and cools to define tonal edges

Don’t be afraid to push the darks
