Why do what we do? The idea is to create a place where kids and adults can come and work out their creative frustrations. To create a place to learn and practice the arts. To create a safe place for creative expression. When you buy tutorials, buy t-shirts, mugs and other swag, when you donate, when you like or share, you help promote this activity in my studio, in my community and in other like minded studios around the world.

This month, I led the class in Outdoor Sketching.  We focused on drawing what you really see and capturing the moment quickly.  We had 15 kids show up for the class, along with some parental units participating.  When it was all over, we had ice cream.

With all the other things going on, Bryan’s upcoming show, leadership arts, commercial recordings, and trying to incorporate as 501C3, I still have three canvasses going that desperately need attention.  Virginia has really been helping flesh out the Artist’s Guild idea we’ve been working on.  I think 2013 is the year that things are really going to come together for us.  That or I’m  gonna set fire to this #&$%@#$&%*@# and quit blowing my family’s vacation money.  :-) Â
