We had a fantastic turnout to the reception a couple of weeks ago! Here are a few of the pics and a video to go with it. We had 150-200 people come through. And that’s not counting the sexy, red headed @DarcyW who watched live on Ustream with my mom and @pennysmom!

It’s hard for the little girl and me to focus on breakfast this morning. The art show at the studio has us WICKEDLY excited! But we still managed to get a little sketching in.
On Monday, January 28th, upon waking up, the answer to Life, The Universe, and EVERYTHING was bestowed upon me. Â Then she went to work and I happily went about the rest of my birthday doing the things I always do on my birthday. Â Each year I schedule an eye exam, ear exam, dental exam, and a physical. Â This year I was only able to get the eye exam in and the doc said my eyes were relatively healthy. Â Yay! Wait, what?
This year, I turned 42. Â There is so much excitement going on in my life right now, I really couldn’t have asked for a better birthday. Â After the eye exam, I had a fried onion hamburger from my favorite greasy spoon, I recorded an interview at a local radio station, then I got a deep tissue massage. Â The only two things that could have improved upon that would have been if I had sold a painting and if the day had ended the same way it began. Â ANYWAY… there’s video for the page here:

A chicken and a rootbeer float. Girl2 and I have tons to do today getting ready for the gallery show this week. But we still have to take time to slow down and spend time together. Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. And this is the most important breakfast of my week.
