This week, the Oklahoma weather is once again trying to kill us. Between the hail, tornadoes, thunderstorms, freezes, and mild sunny days, welcome to spring. My friend and I went for a walk and practically had to hold onto each other to keep from blowing away. That’s when I said, “it’s a good thing we’re not wearing kilts.”
He said, “I don’t know. The breeze could be fun…”
If you didn’t see it before, i wanted to show off this eagle I painted before he’s gone. This one was painted for a dear friend of mine and I hope she enjoys it for a very long time.

So my friend was feeding deer on the lawn of the lodge we were staying in for the Leadership Arts. We had a lot of fun watching the deer eat the marshmallows. Anyway, I joirnaled about it. :-)
With Girl2’s first communion coming up tomorrow, we spent a lot of time talking about angels this morning. She’s growing up pretty fast. DON’T BLINK!
Soccer season sometimes interrupts our breakfasts. Last week we missed out on it altogether. This week we had to go extra early, and practically had the place to ourselves. Even burnt Bacon is enjoyable when we’re together.
