Ever wonder what this studio stuff is all about? It’s SPECIFICALLY for stuff like this. When you buy t-shirts, prints, memberships, or just send donations, “like” or share a post or video, you help keep the doors open for programs like the CAAC’s First Saturday Arts Program. http://wp.me/p35GcN-1j

Daddy/Daughter Breakfast 06JUL2013
After her long trip driving with her mom, Nana, brother and Auntie, she was super excited to go to breakfast with me. Her brother really missed me too. Of course none of them missed me as much as I missed them. Hard to think about Dad at work when you’re riding the teacups at Disneyland. I’m not bitter… (grin)

The Artistic Biker Slays Personal Demons
I have been struggling with personal demons for a very long time. Finally had I the dream where the thing I had been struggling with manifested as a demon. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I pull out a bright shiny sword and slash through it. Colors burst forth and the being dissolved and now I can’t even remember what I was struggling with. Funniest thing is, no one I have spoken with about my struggle remembers what I was struggling with either. When I slay a demon, by gods I slay every iteration of said demon.
This week’s easel features the artwork of Wondering Widget, The Mighty Jay (http://moon-light-creations.webs.com), Artist Poet Girl: Jamie Lynn (http://mypurpledoorstudios.blogspot.com), and The Sexy, Red-headed DarcyW (http://art-and-sole.blogspot.co.uk)

A blunt force journey through the art world and art journaling. If Bob Ross, Red Green and Justin Wilson had a love child, it would be The Artistic Biker! Each week I produce The Artistic Biker Live! on Ustream, then upload the edited videos here. Saturday, you get a 3-5 minute short with me singing. On Monday, you get an hour (ish) long version with all the discussion from the show. And finally, on Wednesday you get the What’s On Your Easel? segment as a stand-alone video. So what are you waiting for? SUBSCRIBE ALREADY! http://goo.gl/NyELT

None of my other videos have been coming together because of the studio gremlins. Â However, I did manage to capture this dandelion painting in progress.

Art Journal Butter Thieving Dog
It’s been a while since the studio was attacked by this many gremlins! Â I thought that by recording remotely on U-stream *AND* recording locally to my hard drive, I had eliminated the loss of video to gremlins. Â However, it seems that I was not prepared for the blown breaker. Â The computer never lost power, so I’m confused why the recording stopped locally. Â By the time this is all over, I’ll end up having someone cranking an 8mm camera to ensure I don’t lose it. Â Sadly, that means we lost the video of Molly O’Connor and Emily KZany visiting the show. Â I am working on piecing together a slide show for Emily’s delightful poetry (if you’re into dark and dead), the What’s onYour Easel? segment, as well as the Midnight at Oasis episode we recorded after the show. Â Keep your fingers crossed and keep watching this space.
