My life is starting to gain a modicum of normalcy. I appreciate a few weeks with no surprises. However, that leaves me with not much to talk about. And so, if you have nothing to say, then say nothing out loud!

With the holidays and 2015 drawing to a  close, I also am closing a whole chapter in my life. I am officially starting the new year as a Texican! This will bring all of the galavanting around the countryside to an end and let me focus more time on my family, my health, my work, and my art. I look forward to amazing things in 2016, and can’t wait to see what you do with it too! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Spring and fall are my favorite two weeks in Oklahoma. This week we played a little with atmospheric perspective by making the back ground a bit hazy so as to “push it back”.. to the background on might say… When I saw the shape of the foreground, however, I saw a ginger and took the page in a completely different direction. Yay!

The Family

I won’t fill this space with all the pics of the SUPER BLOOD MOON ECLIPSE that we stayed up to watch. But I will share with you this photo of a demonstration on ruining night vision. COMPLETELY blinded them for at leas a minute with the flash.  :)

Studio & World Tour

I got to visit with Artist Poet Girl, Jamie Lynn, in her studio! She was gracious enough to, not only make me coffee, but to give me some canvases and paint to play with. I painted a 30 minute portrait of her.  :)
What a lovely woman, and the hugs alone made the trip well worth it!
