This morning’s Random Object Randomogrifier spat out a Pteranodon, and the whole desk took flight.

This morning, the Random Object Randomogrifier handed me a little figurine of Isis, the Egyptian goddess of magic, healing, and kingship.

The random object today is the American bison, commonly called a buffalo, and the challenge is real. The reference is almost completely black with a small brown patch on its back, so the trick is to shade and color without turning the whole thing into a black blob.

Stonehenge came out of the Random Object Randomogrifier today, so at 5:30 in the morning I put pencil to paper and blocked in that familiar shape.

Today’s random object turned out to be a harp seal, and at first glance, it was just a little white blob on the page.
