Virtual Sketch Date Jan2009

January 24th, 2009

So I found another group I would like to participate in.  Virtual Sketch Date puts up an image every month and a bunch of people give their rendition of said image.  Mine started as a color study.  I decided that I kind of liked it as is.  Of course, Girl2 was excited that I had drawn a pumpkin and a banana.

You may see me traveling up and down the highways of Oklahoma looking for the next place to sketch, paint, sing, dance, write, photograph or simply meditate. I have begun a journey that once set upon, there is no turning back. You can share in my blunt force journey through the art world on my weekly U-stream broadcast

Great interpretation. Simple lines are often the best.

Nice sketch Blade, good choice of color, that back peel I found quite complicated when I did mine, I think it was the one of the most challenging parts of this VSD. Great interpretation.

I think it’s great! My brother-in-law thought mine was a flower! Go figure.

Nice sketch! It’s simple but it still gets the idea across.
