Maybe you'll get inspired when you are on site…you know like by the trains!
At least your have some idea! I think I would like to start painting but I'm not really sure what to do (or how to do it – well, I DO know some things and that makes me even more nervous about it. I think I'm over thinking the process which leads me to not wanting to paint but I really want to as well but then there's the expense of the supplies…) See what I mean?
Jack, you need to watch the show. I am painting in a book made of grocery sacks and using student grade paints and brushes from wal*mart for the express purpose of freeing people of that fear. You do not have to buy the top of the line to start and you do not have to create masterpieces to have fun with it.
It's not so much about buying top of the line stuff. It's just starting the whole thing! Did you take painting classes?
Nope he didn't! Watch the show, it's inspirational…i'm about to take the Art Journey…msybe next week ;-)
I did not, Jack. I just picked up a brush. There was this one Guy I used to love to watch draw when I was a kid. He was a great inspiration to me then. Saw him the other day online sporting a goatee and a bow tie. :-)
Laura, Jack is family. You might get to meet him sometime if I can get him in the studio.
That's very humbling. Thank you for your kindness. It it I who am inspired by what you do. I've watched some of the shows. There great.
