We’re going through some severe shake ups at my day job so I may not be able to post regularly again for a while. It may be more of the mobile phone uploads. Today, however, I thought I’d post this sketch that I did this weekend. A friend of mine on facebook asked me to draw a hummingbird for her.
Ball point pen on Canson, 65# recycled paper, 9×12.
Outstanding! Nice to see a couple new posts. Hope everything shakes out OK at the day job. In the meantime, try to stay artsy.

I love hummingbirds and you have done an excellent job! Hope all goes well at work and that you get time to do a drawing. Chin up!
Lovely sketch – the foreshortening is impressive!
Hope the work thing pans out OK – and that you are soon back to your regular postings.

This drawing really shows your growth. The detail is very nice. I am going to add this to my collection.
That is a great drawing. I agree you really captured the foreshortening (not easy) I have noticed over the past few months your drawings are getting more and more detailed.
