Painting Class: Popcorn I

Tonight, I demonstrated the horrors of not prepping a surface properly, creating a background underpainting, and began blocking in the shapes for the popcorn forground.

Painting Class 2: making things POP!

 Tonight I gave three simple things you can do to make your subjects POP off of your canvas: Atmospheric perspective, Glazing, and underpainting in complimentary colors. Try them out and let me know your results!

Painting Class 1:1 Color Wheels

 Tonight we went through the process of creating a color wheel and experimenting with your paints.  Materials used were gesso, student and professional acrylic paint, various inexpensive brushes, multimedia paper and some index cards.
