Welcome to the Artistic Biker's Webspace!

The Artistic Biker is me, Jonathan "Blade" Manning.
A treasure troll of a man, with hobbit feet and a sharp pointy head. You may see me traveling up and down the highways of Oklahoma looking for the next place to sketch, paint, sing, dance, write, photograph or simply meditate. I have begun a journey that once set upon, there is no turning back. You can share in my blunt force journey through the art world on my weekly U-stream broadcast
The Artistic Biker Live!

Thursdays from 6-8p central

A Bald Faced Self Portrait

Did you miss The Artistic Biker Live!? Watch the recording here: A Bald Faced Self Portrait http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/18290954

It's MOVEMBER! During the month of November, thousands of men everywhere shave their faces and grow a fresh mustache to raise awareness (and dollars) for men's cancer research. I shaved my goatee and am now growing a fresh "stache". This page was dedicated to that.

A big shout out and thank you to +Rod Borghese for sharing the word last week!

After last weeks halloweenie show I had to come back for more. Unfortunately had to keep popping in and out. Got a 2yr old grandson “very needy”. For me sometimes it’s the process rather than the result, think I learn more from the pages I dont like, (but tear them out or cover them up). Even if Blade painted a page with just gesso I would enjoy watching him do it. Next week gonna try to get a babysitter. Totally cool show! was wondering what happened to the robot looking page toward the begining of the show?

Thanks, Brenda! I’m really glad you enjoyed it. The robot looking page at the beginning was just a completely unrelated background to the finished page. The elements that page represent are the launch of the drawing classes, the launch of the painting classes, and the launch of the Movember mustache challenge (http://mobro.co/artisticbiker ).
