Most of my friends know that I am not a believer in the mystics or mysteries

However, I have friends that are devout whom I respect greatly. Jack is a lifelong friend trying to follow a path of love.
"what about helping at an AIDS or abortion clinic? Again, not to beat them over the head with a Bible, but to actually practice a life of Love and Grace. Of listening and befriending them. Of actually caring about them as people that have the same needs and wants and desires as ourselves. What kind of impact would that make when people are no longer afraid judgmental Christians? What kind of impact would that have on those communities and us?"

Had a blast after I finally got to the arts festival

Spent the afternoon doing live painting demos. They had a couple of really cool bands that required dancing. Today I managed to get the sketches done and the color studies done. I'll put in more detail tomorrow.

I ended up spending the night at the arts festival fairgrounds acting as security for the stage equipment. I am having a TERRIBLE time getting motivate to pack up and get back down there.
