Self Portrait

February 17th, 2009

108 Self PortraitTo continue playing with my new brush pen, I decided to attempt a self portrait.  Tonight, I present to the world my first ever self portrait.  Never before attempted.  Done on Canson watercolor paper (9″x12″ 90#), brush pen, and kimberly watercolor pencils.

For the record, the ink that came with the brush pen is NOT water proof.

109 Self PortraitTonight’s EDM challenge is to draw some keys. Here are my keys, complete with my nail clippers and my “I heart my dog” key chain girl1 made for me.

I am always intrigued by the eyes you draw. These are no exception. There is depth and kindness in them. However, as for this being a self portrait……I don’t see you as you do.

Wonderful face…love the expression. Great loose technique.

This is a great self portrait! I like the way you used the brush pen, very expressive.
